Opening hours

Trompenburg is open all year around. In the winter there are shorter opening hours and it is a bit more quite in the garden, but a it is always well worth the visit, the whole year round.

April – October

  • Monday:  12:00 – 17:00
  • Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 – 17:00

November – March

  • Monday:  12:00 – 16:00
  • Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 – 16:00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 – 16:00 uur

 

On the following holidays apply different opening hours:

Good Friday, Easter, Kings day (27 April), Ascension day,
Pentecost, 5 May (liberation day):
10:00 – 17:00 uur

Tea house opening hours

April – October

Tuesday – Sunday: 10:00 – 16:30

November – March

Dinsdag, woensdag, donderdag: 10:00 – 15:30 uur

!! The Tea House is closed in December and January!!

 

Trompenburg Gardens is only accessible on foot, not by bike or car. The garden is wheelchair friendly.

Dogs are not allowed in the garden, with the exception of guide dogs for blind and optically challenged people.

How to get here

Trompenburg is near the center of Rotterdam and very easy to reach with public transportation. Tram lines 21 and 24 stop right in front of the garden (Stop: Woudenstein). Tram line 7 stops also nearby (stop: Erasmus Universiteit). The Metro stops 10 minutes walking distance from the garden.

By car follow the A16 and take exit 25 to the center of Rotterdam. Follow te signs ‘Honingerdijk/ Trompenburg’. There is a large parking area just in front of the garden.
